Introduction

StudyPlus 12th (“we”, “our”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from students who use the app, how we use it, and how it is protected.

Information We Collect

When you sign up using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if available). We also store basic account information such as your district and account creation date. You can also choose to upload your own profile photo from your phone’s gallery at any time from the drawer or “My Profile” section — this requires gallery access permission and replaces your Google account photo in the app. We do not collect any information beyond what is needed to provide the app’s features.

App Activity & Notifications

To keep the app working smoothly and to send you relevant updates, we track which screen you are currently using within the app (for example, whether you are on Notes, Quiz, or Question Bank) and send push notifications for things like new live tests, content updates, or important announcements. This requires notification permission, which the app will ask for. You can turn notifications off anytime from the drawer’s “Notifications” toggle, and can manage notification permissions from your phone’s system settings as well.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to create and manage your account, personalize your learning experience, send you relevant notifications (such as new questions or updates), and provide customer support when you contact us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, a trusted cloud platform. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication for login. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data during the sign-in process.

Payment Information

If you purchase a premium plan, payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not collect, see, or store your card, UPI PIN, or bank account details — these are entered directly into Razorpay’s secure checkout and governed by Razorpay’s own Privacy Policy. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, so we can activate your plan. See our Payment & Refund Policy below for full details.

Advertising

StudyPlus 12th shows ads, served by Google AdMob, to users who have not purchased a premium plan. This includes banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, rewarded ads, and app-open ads. Google AdMob may collect device and usage information (such as your device identifier and general location) to show and measure ads, as governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy. Users with an active premium plan do not see ads anywhere in the app.

Sharing Questions

Notes and Question Bank screens let you share a question as an image — for example, to send it to a friend on WhatsApp, or to save it to your phone’s photo gallery. This image is generated on your own device and is only sent to wherever you choose to share it (WhatsApp, another app, or your gallery); we do not receive a copy of it, and saving to your gallery requires your permission for photo/storage access, which the app will ask for the first time you use this feature.

Bookmarks

You can bookmark any question from Notes or Question Bank to save it for later. Bookmarks are linked to your account and stored securely on our servers (Firebase), so your saved questions are available whenever you log in, from any device. You can remove a bookmark at any time from the “Bookmarks” section of the app.

PDF Downloads

Notes and Question Bank content can be downloaded as PDF files. Downloaded PDFs are saved on your device and appear in the app’s own “My Downloads” section so you can reopen them anytime, even offline. From there, you can also share a downloaded PDF to WhatsApp or any other app, or save a copy to your phone’s file storage/gallery, using your device’s own share options. This requires storage/file access permission, which the app will ask for the first time you download something.

Your Choices

You can update your profile information (name, email, mobile, district) at any time from the “My Profile” section of the app. You may also log out of your account at any time.

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly from the app, from the “Delete Account” option in the “My Profile” section. This removes your profile information, bookmarks, download history, and premium plan status from our servers. Some information (such as records required for completed payments) may be retained as required by law even after account deletion. If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing us at studyplusaudiobook@gmail.com from your registered email address.

Children’s Privacy

StudyPlus 12th is designed for Class 12 students preparing for board exams. Class 12 students in India are typically between 16 and 18 years of age, so a significant number of our users may be under 18. We only collect the minimal information needed to provide the app’s features (see “Information We Collect” above), do not knowingly collect more information than necessary from any user regardless of age, and do not knowingly allow users under 13 to create an account. We encourage users under 18 to use the app with the awareness of a parent or guardian, particularly for any premium plan purchase.

AI-Generated Content

Some visual content in the app — such as subject icons/covers, illustrative diagrams, and small icons or photos used alongside Objective, Subjective, and other question types, notes, and downloaded PDFs — may be generated using AI (artificial intelligence) image tools. This applies throughout the app and inside PDF downloads, wherever such icons, diagrams, or photos appear. This content is used purely for visual/illustrative purposes; the underlying study content (notes, questions, answers) is written and reviewed separately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

Payment & Refund Policy

Payment Processor

All payments made within StudyPlus 12th for premium plans (Live Test Series, Chapter-wise Notes, Full Access, and other paid content) are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). StudyPlus 12th does not store or have access to your card, UPI PIN, or bank account details at any point — these are handled entirely by Razorpay’s secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.

Accepted Payment Methods

You can pay using UPI (via any UPI app installed on your phone such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or your bank’s own app), by scanning a UPI QR code, or using debit/credit cards and net banking, wherever available. Available methods may vary slightly depending on your device and bank.

What Happens After Payment

Once your payment is successfully verified by Razorpay, your selected plan is activated on your account automatically, usually within a few seconds and almost always within 10-20 seconds. If your plan is not activated within a few minutes of a successful payment, please contact us with your payment reference/transaction ID.

Pricing

All prices shown in the app are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Plan prices, durations, and what each plan includes are shown clearly before you make a payment.

Refunds & Cancellations

Since our plans unlock digital content (notes, live tests, question banks) instantly upon purchase, payments are generally non-refundable once a plan has been activated and any content under that plan has been accessed. If a payment was deducted from your account but your plan was not activated (a failed or incomplete transaction), you are entitled to a full refund — please contact us with your payment reference/transaction ID and we will investigate and process eligible refunds within 5-7 business days.

Failed or Duplicate Payments

If money is deducted from your bank account/UPI app but the transaction shows as failed in StudyPlus 12th, the amount is typically auto-reversed to your original payment method by your bank/Razorpay within 5-7 business days as per RBI guidelines. If it is not reversed within that window, please reach out to us for assistance.

Data Shared With Razorpay

To process your payment, Razorpay receives your name, phone number/email, the amount being paid, and payment method details you enter directly into Razorpay’s own secure checkout screen. This is governed by Razorpay’s own Privacy Policy in addition to ours.

Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using StudyPlus 12th, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

Who Can Use the App

StudyPlus 12th is intended for Class 12 (Bihar Board and other boards) students and educators for educational purposes. Class 12 students are typically between 16 and 18 years of age; users under 18 should use the app, and make any premium plan purchase, with the awareness of a parent or guardian.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to copy, redistribute, or resell any content from the app (notes, question banks, quizzes, PDFs) without permission. Sharing an individual question or PDF from the app’s own Share/Download features for your personal study use (e.g., sending a question to a friend on WhatsApp) is fine — bulk copying, redistributing, or reselling app content is not. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to access other students’ accounts, or disrupt the app’s normal functioning.

Premium Plans & Payments

Some content (Live Test Series, Chapter-wise Notes, Full Access, and other paid plans) requires purchasing a premium plan. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Pricing, billing, and refund terms are described in full in our Payment & Refund Policy above, which forms part of these Terms.

Advertisements

Users who have not purchased a premium plan may see advertisements (banner, interstitial, rewarded, and app-open ads) served by Google AdMob. Purchasing any premium plan removes ads from the app.

AI-Generated Visuals

Some icons, diagrams, and illustrative images shown in the app, in notes, and in downloaded PDFs may be generated using AI image tools. These are for visual purposes only and do not affect the accuracy of the underlying study content, which is written and reviewed separately.

Content Accuracy

While we make every effort to keep notes, questions, and answers accurate and up to date, StudyPlus 12th does not guarantee that all content is completely free of errors. Students should use the app as a supplementary study aid alongside their official textbooks and classroom guidance.

Availability

We aim to keep the app available at all times, but access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

Account Termination & Deletion

You may delete your own account at any time from the “Delete Account” option in “My Profile”, as described in our Privacy Policy above. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (for example, misuse of the app or unauthorized redistribution of content), with or without notice.

Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service, or add, change, or remove features of the app, at any time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
